My Aunt gave me my first sourdough starter and a day of baking in 2017. She uses my Great grandmothers recipe "Nana Jensen" . My aunts kneading technique is that of a master!
Dad, what can I say about my dad? well... hold onto your hat!
He uses no recipe
everything is calculated on the fly and never disappoints!
I love the feel of the dough on my hands and the smell as it bakes in the oven. However what I love more than anything is the time spent baking with my family. You never know when the call will come in from my aunt or my dad so, my starter is always ready to go!
